In 2023, pain pride pose collaborated with Studio Obacht to transform their traveling exhibition into a permanent online exhibition. The project aimed to preserve the exhibition’s impactful narratives and ensure its accessibility to a global audience. The scope included designing a comprehensive website, integrating high-quality images and multimedia content, and creating an engaging digital experience that faithfully represents the exhibition’s themes of visibility, pride, and resistance against discrimination.
Studio Obacht worked closely with the pain pride pose team to capture the essence of their traveling exhibition. We developed a visually compelling website that features detailed photographs of the exhibition’s collages, narratives, and multimedia elements, including videos and audio stories. The website was optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, ensuring broad accessibility. Interactive features, such as virtual tours and artist profiles, were incorporated to provide visitors with an immersive experience that mirrors the physical exhibition’s impact.
The online exhibition successfully extended pain pride pose’s reach, making it accessible to a global audience and preserving its powerful message. The website provided a permanent platform for the exhibition, allowing visitors to engage deeply with the stories and artworks. The digital transformation enabled pain pride pose to continue its mission of visibility and advocacy, reaching more people than ever before and fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the diverse experiences within the international queer community.
